Tools required:
- Box opener
- Small Phillips head screwdriver
- Keyboard/Mouse
- Optional: Double-sided sticky back velcro and cord organization items.
1. After receiving the unit, unbox and remove the back (customer-facing panel) - install the mag strip reader on the side using the screws provided. Plug into the appropriate MSR port on the back of the machine as indicated on the instructions.
(Mag strip is plugged into the MSR port)
2. Install the customer-facing display using the two screws included in the box. Plug into the COM4 port
3. Plug in the power, Internet, and finger scanner to the unit, using the double-sided Velcro to stick the connection unit to the wall/cabinet or to keep cords out of the way. There are also 4 USB ports on the underside of the screen for additional connections if needed.
3. Use an empty USB port on the back of the machine or underneath to plug in a keyboard and a mouse.
4. Contact Brink - (800) 403-9027 x1 - they will log in and complete the rest of the programming for the unit. If you have attempted to reach Brink and your wait time has been more than 30 minutes, you may contact your ROC for assistance from Pickle's Support.
5. When programming is complete - test using mag-stripe as well as the PAR Pay device.
6. If the time is not correct, it can be fixed by using the mouse clicking in the lower right-hand corner.
7. Please notify Pickle's support of your new POS so we can get TeamViewer loaded on your machine (this will help us to help you in case of an emergency).
